As a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer reporting into the Mechanical Design Manager, working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in conceptualizing and designing complex MEP systems for high end luxury residential and hospitality projects. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach would be required for this role.

Responsibilities include

• Provide concept and design for the entire Mechanical Systems (Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Smoke Control,) for residential projects, from Concept Design Documents, to Construction Documents
• Efficiently calculating building cooling loads via Authority Approved software.
• Coordinating with Submittal Engineers to ensure that submitted documents are as per respective Authorities’ requirements as well as record keeping of all Mechanical documents submitted.
• Discussing with Mechanical Equipment suppliers to ensure equipment selected will be as per Mechanical Design requirements.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 12-15 years of experience in Mechanical Design working with reputed PMCs in the Middle East.
• Project Portfolio must include Highrise, Luxury Residential, Hospitality or Mixed use development projects in the UAE.
• Knowledgeable with all Dubai related Authorities such as DEWA, Trakhees etc.
