Job Summary:
The WordPress Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to client specifications. This role requires experience in WordPress development, including the ability to create custom themes and plugins, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement modern, responsive designs.

Responsibilities:

• Build, customize, and optimize WordPress websites based on provided specifications and project goal. Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins as per requirements. Ensure high performance, user experience, and compatibility across devices and browsers. Conduct regular maintenance to ensure site security, performance, and responsiveness. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including debugging and error handling. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to understand requirements and provide input on project timelines and solutions. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and clients to deliver projects on time. Conduct thorough testing of websites and features before deploying. Ensure that all sites are developed with industry standards and best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress development and web technologies. Implement and document code standards and best practices for WordPress.

Requirements:

Experience: 1+ years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery). Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for WordPress customization. Experience with theme and plugin development, including custom coding. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Yoast SEO). Experience with responsive and mobile-first design practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
