Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Procurement Manager in sourcing quality products and negotiating competitive terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient supply chains.
• Research and identify potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with Steigens’ quality and cost standards.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and deliver effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Support inventory management and procurement strategies to meet business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the corporate gifting or related industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the corporate gifting or promotional products sector.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
