Job Summary:
Prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed shop drawings for furniture and joinery works based on project requirements, ensuring alignment with design specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings for furniture, joinery, and fit-out elements.
• Interpret architectural and interior design plans and translate them into manufacturing-ready details.
• Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure drawings are practical and feasible.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from designers, engineers, or clients.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, project timelines, and company guidelines.
• Assist in material take-offs and quantity estimation from drawings.
• Participate in design meetings and site visits if required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a draftsman in joinery or furniture industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other design tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of furniture and joinery construction and materials.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
