Role Overview:

As a Taproom Host, you’re the face of YALA. You welcome guests, serve kombucha, keep the space clean and inviting, and support light back-of-house tasks like inventory and deliveries. This role is perfect for someone friendly, hands-on, and excited to be part of a growing local brand.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Experience & Service

• Greet and engage customers with a warm, friendly attitude
• Serve kombucha from taps and explain flavors to guests
• Answer questions about the brand, products, and ingredients
• Offer samples and promote sales of bottles, cans, and merchandise
• Handle POS transactions, issue receipts, and manage basic cash/card payments

Space & Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, seating area, and service counter throughout the shift
• Sanitize surfaces and follow hygiene standards (HAACP practices preferred)
• Refill bar stock, glasses, and supplies as needed
• Dispose of waste responsibly and help keep the area looking great

Support & Coordination

• Assist with unpacking and storing inventory (kombucha, packaging, merchandise)
• Support deliveries by helping pack or load small client or online orders
• Update basic order or stock logs, if needed
• Help with bar prep before opening and light close-down tasks after service

Who You Are:

• Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
• Speaks fluent English (Arabic or other languages are a plus)
• Has experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service (preferred)
• Is clean, organized, and hands-on with small tasks
• Open to learning about kombucha and wellness products
• Flexible to support occasional events or weekend shifts
