Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores and websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance.
• Customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript to match the client’s branding and functionality requirements.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features, improve store layouts, and optimize conversion rates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Shopify stores, including fixing bugs, errors, and ensuring the website operates smoothly.
• Integrate third-party apps and services into the Shopify platform, including payment gateways, analytics tools, and marketing automation tools.
• Implement and manage Shopify Plus features, including advanced customizations and integrations for larger enterprise-level clients.
• Monitor and optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and SEO best practices are followed.
• Ensure the site is mobile-friendly and offers an excellent user experience across all devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices to continually improve site functionality and user experience.
• Assist with data migration, including moving products, customers, and orders between platforms.
• Provide support and training to internal teams and clients regarding Shopify functionality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Shopify development, including knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid programming language, and Shopify APIs.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with third-party integrations, plugins, and apps for the Shopify ecosystem.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A solid understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to Shopify stores is a plus.
• Previous experience in e-commerce and knowledge of online sales strategies is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Shopify Plus and/or Enterprise-level projects.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, or Figma).
• Experience with custom Shopify app development and Shopify APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
