Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil

Location: Al Ain

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to join our Abu Dhabi team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in quantity surveying for high-value projects in the UAE and a strong background in consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all quantity surveying activities for large-scale civil projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cost estimations and control.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost plans, and tender documentation in compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Evaluate and negotiate contractor claims, variations, and final accounts to ensure fair resolutions.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and provide cost-related advice to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the design and project management teams to ensure project costs align with budgets.
• Provide strategic advice on cost optimization and value engineering for high-value UAE projects.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, standards, and local authority guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in quantity surveying for civil projects.
• At least 8+ years of consultancy experience within the construction and engineering sectors.
• Demonstrated experience working on high-value projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and FIDIC conditions.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software such as CostX, CCS, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and processes.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Preference for immediate joiners who can seamlessly integrate into ongoing projects.
