Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Data Analyst to join our RIOS Retail Network team at our Head Office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will transform retail data into actionable insights, helping optimize sales performance, inventory management, and customer trends. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales, inventory, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on retail performance (KPIs, sell-through rates, stock turnover, etc.).
- Develop dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and stock levels.
- Conduct market basket analysis and customer segmentation to enhance sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating and cleaning retail transaction datasets.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Support business decisions with predictive modeling and forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in retail analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), SQL, Python/ R, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Familiarity with retail KPIs (GMROI, sell-through, shrinkage, etc.).
