Job Description:

Venco Imtiaz Contracting Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer with a strong background in Civil Engineering, particularly in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, analyzing project requirements, and ensuring that all aspects of the project are covered in the estimation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for high-rise building projects.
• Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database.

• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals for high-rise building projects.
• Coordinate with the project team to gather necessary information and ensure timely submission of bids.
• Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project management team.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project information and clarify project requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gain a thorough understanding of project conditions.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimation activities and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Prepare and present cost analysis and project feasibility reports to senior management.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, with a focus on high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Candy, Primavera, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
