Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cutting Master who is proficient in designing, pattern-making, and cutting high-quality suits and abayas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and tailoring techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pattern Making and Cutting:
• Create accurate patterns based on design sketches, measurements, and client requirements.
• Cut fabric efficiently with minimal waste while maintaining precision and quality.
• Fabric Knowledge and Selection:
• Identify appropriate fabrics for suits and abayas.
• Ensure fabric handling and cutting align with the texture, stretch, and durability of the material.
• Customization and Fit:
• Take precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit for clients.
• Adjust patterns or designs to meet specific tailoring needs and preferences.
• Collaboration with Designers and Tailors:
• Work closely with fashion designers to bring their concepts to life.
• Coordinate with tailors to ensure smooth transitions from cutting to sewing stages.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished patterns and cut pieces to ensure they meet design specifications.
• Maintain high standards in cutting and craftsmanship for both suits and abayas.
• Efficiency and Productivity:
• Optimize fabric usage to minimize waste.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Workplace Organization:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Ensure tools and cutting equipment are in good working condition.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Cutting Master specializing in suits and abayas.
• Expertise in pattern-making (manual and digital methods preferred).
• Strong understanding of garment construction and tailoring techniques.
• Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and their cutting techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
