Responsible for the stitching fitted staff uniform and maintenance of hotel linen.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Duties include but are not limited to):

· Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

· Alters and repairs linen, uniforms, curtains, drapes

· Measure uniforms for new employees and makes adjustments as required

· Replaces missing buttons from uniforms and laundered guest clothing

· Repairs guest clothing as requested

· Ensure that the work area is kept clear, clean and free of debris

· Ensure that equipment and machines are kept in good working condition, and report any equipment that is malfunctioning

· Assists the Uniform Attendants when required

· Assist in on job training of new Tailors as required

· Attend to any training courses given by Housekeeping and Human Resources

· Perform any other duties deemed reasonable by Management.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- At least 1-2 years experience in the hotel as tailor

- Good in communication

- Knowledge in the Laundry Department

-Willing to work and relocate in Fujairah
