We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to oversee the end-to-end workflow of our US-based construction estimation company. This role involves managing internal processes, leading the estimation team, cold calling, client relationship management, job closing, proposal creation, invoicing, and coordination with engineers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the complete estimation process from lead generation to job closure
Lead and supervise a team of estimators and support staff
Handle cold calling, follow-ups, and client acquisition strategies
Develop and present compelling project proposals and bids
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction rates
Create, manage, and track invoices and project costs
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of estimates and project-related documents
Improve and streamline internal processes for better efficiency and productivity
Stay updated with industry trends and competitive pricing strategies
Requirements:
Proven experience in operations or business development in the construction or estimation industry
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of construction workflows and estimation processes
Proficient in proposal writing, invoicing, and client communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure
Knowledge of industry tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar software is a plus
