Job Summary:

As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials and services in line with project requirements. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in procurement within the UAE construction industry and a deep understanding of local suppliers, market trends, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement process for construction projects.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase agreements.
• Prepare comparative statements and obtain technical approvals.
• Coordinate with the engineering, planning, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain a reliable vendor database.
• Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Track orders, deliveries, and material inventory.
• Prepare procurement schedules and progress reports for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in the UAE construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP items, and market sources in the UAE.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities under tight deadlines.
