Job Description
As a Call Center Agent for Taxi Cab Controlling & Dispatching, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, dispatching taxis, managing customer requests, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers and customers. The ideal candidate will be quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage incoming customer calls for taxi bookings and inquiries.
- Dispatch taxis in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring drivers reach customers promptly.
- Monitor and track taxi locations to optimize dispatching decisions.
- Communicate clearly with drivers, providing them with accurate trip details and instructions.
- Respond to customer questions, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and a focus on providing excellent service.
- Ensure accurate logging and record-keeping of all dispatch activities.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or dispatching role is preferred.
- Familiarity with taxi dispatching systems or GPS tracking software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high call volumes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with MS Office and call center software.
