Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: coating application by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust, grease, and other contaminants to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of the coatings.
• Coating Application: Utilize advanced spray painting techniques to apply high-quality primers, industrial-grade paints, and specialized coatings ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.
• Familiarize yourself with the specific coatings and paint systems suitable for various types considering factors such as durability, weather resistance, and operational conditions.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized spray painting equipment, such as airless paint sprayers and plural-component coating systems, to achieve optimal results.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all stages of the painting process, including handling hazardous materials, to ensure the safety of yourself and your team members.
• Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of coated equipment to verify that the coatings meet the required quality standards and project specifications, making necessary touch-ups or corrections as needed.
• Color Matching: Skillfully match and mix paint colors to accurately reproduce equipment colors and finishes, ensuring consistency and maintaining brand standards.
• Material Handling: Safely handle, store, and dispose of paint, solvents, and other materials following environmental regulations and company policies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of paint usage, equipment specifications, coating types, and job details for future reference and reporting purposes.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including equipment operators and maintenance personnel, to ensure a seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
