
· Discussing student’s IEP with concerned psychologist in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the student
· If assigned the duty by psychologist, teacher will revise and update the IEPs of their students
· Providing students with one to one instruction in academics and managing group activities
· Supervising and facilitating students during morning assembly, lunch break and at home time
· Providing an enabling environment to the students so they can learn and generalize basic social skills
· Arranging class in a learning friendly and functional fashion
· Keeping record of students’ daily performance and progress by maintaining worksheets, writing weekly and monthly reports.
· Facilitating all push in services (music, sports, religious education, group sessions of speech therapy etc.)
· Carrying out a thorough evaluation of students learning at the end of term, preparing detailed results, reporting it to the relevant psychologist and communicating progress of the student to the parents
· Ensuring cleanliness of class and students and maintaining order in the class
· Maintenance of material / AV aid.
