Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and local UAE construction laws (if applicable).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with experience in the interior and fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial management of interior projects, ensuring that all works are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for interior fit-out projects.

Conduct material and quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Manage procurement processes, including tendering, subcontractor selection, and cost negotiations.

Prepare and evaluate tenders, contracts, and subcontractor agreements.

Monitor project costs, cash flow, and budgets to ensure cost control and avoid overruns.

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate claims, and track material usage.

Evaluate and process payment applications from contractors and suppliers.

Identify cost variations and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and contract specifications.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to optimize cost efficiency.

Prepare financial reports, claims, and final accounts.
