Sommelier(Retail)

• Maintain high quality standards and cleanliness of the whole wine section.
• Ensuring consistent stock availability of all the wine SKU’s available in the group portfolios according to the segment of outlet.
• Full awareness and focus of Agency Wine Brands.
• Responsible for achieving all the agency wine target provided
• Ensuring proper par stock level and availability of all the SKU from Agency Brands portfolios.
• Responsible for maintaining proper visibility standards of Agency Brands in the outlets.
• Responsible for maintaining proper labeling and correct pricing of all the wines in the outlets.
• Responsible for wine promotions and activation including up-selling of Agency Brands.
• Responsible for training and development of the team on wines.
• Ensure all the team members are well aware of major Agency Wine Brands.
• Responsible for increasing wine sales on all major categories with consistent focus on increasing Agency brands share.
• Identify the slow/non performing wine categories and implement action plans to increase sales.
• Responsible for inventory management of wines.
• Strictly follow all wine allocation given and new portfolio introduction to maintain Wine Category Segment in the outlet.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through consistent service and quality assistance to customers.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years of hospitality experience in similar role.
• Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or in Hospitality Management.
• Must have minimum WSET 2 level certification or similar course.
• Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings.
• Good communication as well as interpersonal skills.
