WOW VIR is hiring a highly detail-oriented Accountant with direct experience in managing finances for e-commerce businesses — especially platforms with multiple vendors, commission structures, and third-party delivery services.

This is not a standard accounting role. We're looking for someone who understands the complexity of digital marketplaces, vendor settlements, and payment gateways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and reporting
• Reconcile transactions from app sales, vendor payments, and delivery fees
• Track commissions, subscription fees, and promotional expenses
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow, and vendor financial reports
• Work with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance
• Monitor Stripe and payment gateway transactions
• Manage VAT submissions and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in e-commerce, preferably multi-vendor platforms
• Strong understanding of commission-based revenue models and third-party delivery charges
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Solid Excel and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax
• Experience coordinating with external auditors
• Must be based in UAE or willing to relocate
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
