Role & Responsibilities:

· Write compelling headlines, teasers, and meta descriptions to drive traffic and engagement.
· Develop high-quality content for news articles, blogs, newsletters, and social media posts.
· Ensure content is optimized for SEO and follows best digital marketing practices.
· Write scripts for video content and promotional materials.
· Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
· Adapt writing style to match the voice and tone of different news brands.

• Stay updated with digital content trends, storytelling techniques, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in copywriting, content writing, or journalism
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong command of grammar, style, and persuasive writing techniques.
• Experience with SEO copywriting and keyword optimization.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of social media copywriting and digital marketing.
• Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to journalistic accuracy.
