Delta Gulf Oman based Company is looking for Planning Engineer. As a Project Manager Civil Engineer, you will You will be responsible for developing and managing Projects execution, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track. Job description

  • Lead and manage high-rise construction projects.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and manage risks.
  • Prepare and present project reports.
  • Review BOQ, budget, specifications and drawings for any newly awarded tender to produce a procurement list.
  • Arrange RFQs and comparable quotes from international Suppliers.
  • Prepare comparative reports with different options regarding subcontractors, material providers…
  • Ensure that the correct materials are ordered for the project.
  • Liaise with contracts/commercial manager and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure the delivery of the materials within the required timeframe.
  • Monitor the stock levels of standard materials and ensure that the required items are purchased when the stock levels are low.
  • Maintain continuous communication with suppliers/subcontractors and Contracts Manager.
  • Review any value engineering possible and notify the same to relevant stake holders
  • Follow up for final closeout documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree Civil Engineering + Master
  • PMP Certification is a Plus Point.
  • 5+ years in high-rise construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools.5 to 6 years’ proven experience as a procurement engineer or Project Manager in CIVIL construction projects.
  • International Procurement experience is a plus point
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluent English accent is must
  • Negotiation skills
