Job Description:

Project Location: Dubai Creek Harbour

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering cost management solutions for high-rise building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and interpret tender documents, contracts, and specifications.
• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for high-rise building projects.
• Estimate and monitor project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
• Prepare and manage interim payment applications in accordance with contract terms.
• Identify, analyze, and prepare variation orders and claims for cost overruns.
• Conduct cost control activities to ensure project stays within budget.
• Manage and maintain project cost databases and reporting systems.
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts for senior management review.
• Attend and participate in project meetings to provide cost-related feedback and advice.
• Identify and manage project risks related to cost and schedule.
• Manage and mentor junior quantity surveyors within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest construction industry practices and standards in Dubai.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction consultancy or contracting firm.
• Proven experience in high-rise building projects is essential.
• A recognized bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS qualification a plus).
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and local UAE construction contract forms.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant cost estimating software (e.g., CCS CostX, Synchro, Planswift).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
