Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented BIM Modeler – HVAC with a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing HVAC BIM models for building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing coordinated HVAC models and drawings to support design, construction, and installation, ensuring alignment with local standards and multidisciplinary coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed 3D HVAC models in Revit MEP, following project specifications, LOD standards, and BIM Execution Plans.
• Model all HVAC systems including ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation, VAVs, AHUs, FCUs, and exhaust systems.
• Coordinate HVAC models with architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical disciplines using Navisworks Manage and Revit.
• Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings with precision and attention to construction feasibility.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues in collaboration with other BIM and engineering teams.
• Support the preparation of quantity take-offs, equipment schedules, and fabrication details.
• Update and maintain models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating revisions and change orders.
• Follow project-specific BIM standards, naming conventions, and documentation procedures.
• Attend coordination meetings and assist in technical discussions related to HVAC design and constructability.
• Develop and manage BIM content such as families, templates, and standard details specific to HVAC systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC BIM modeling for building projects.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, equipment, installation practices, and UAE construction codes.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows and multidisciplinary integration.
• High level of accuracy, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, consultants, and site teams.
