Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of geriatric patients, including medical histories, physical exams, and cognitive evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address health issues, functional limitations, and patient goals
• Manage treatment for chronic conditions common in older adults, such as arthritis, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues
• Educate patients and families about disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
• Stay updated on advancements in geriatric medicine, best practices, and treatment guidelines

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine is required
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geriatric medicine or related fields
• Strong knowledge of age-related medical issues and treatments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
