The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' oral health and surgical needs
• Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to tooth extraction, lesion removal, and dental implant placements
• Offer pre-operative and post-operative care, including risk assessment and management strategies
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care
• Work collaboratively with dental specialists and support staff to ensure integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal standards
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in oral surgery techniques
  
  
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Board certification in Oral Surgery preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience in a clinical environment
• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail in surgical procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
