Job Summary:
We are looking for a sharp, persuasive, and results-oriented Information Technology Sales Closer Executive to convert qualified leads into signed business deals. You will take charge of the final phase of the sales process—guiding prospects from proposal to negotiation to contract closure. The goal is to maximize every opportunity and generate consistent revenue growth.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, in-depth knowledge of information technology services and solutions, and a strategic approach to closing high-value deals efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Closing Deals and Generating Revenue
1. Take over warm or qualified leads from the business development or marketing team.
2. Lead the final steps of the sales cycle, including reviewing proposals, negotiating pricing, addressing concerns, and finalizing agreements.
3. Guide potential clients to a confident decision, emphasizing value while reducing the time to close.
4. Prepare and deliver customized presentations and demonstrations that align with each client's specific needs.
5. Work with technical and pre-sales teams to ensure all project specifications, deliverables, and timelines are clear and accurate.
Strategic Communication and Negotiation
Negotiate pricing, service levels, and contract terms with key decision-makers and purchasing departments.
Handle last-stage concerns or objections with confidence, professionalism, and product expertise.
Lead sales conversations with authority while creating a sense of urgency and reinforcing value.
Client Transition and Relationship Management
Ensure a seamless handover of closed deals to the onboarding or project delivery team with all necessary documentation.
Build the foundation for long-term client relationships and identify future upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Act as a temporary point of contact for any clarifications needed post-sale before full transition.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting
Accurately track progress and maintain detailed records in customer relationship management systems such as Close CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
Share weekly and monthly performance reports and revenue forecasts with sales leadership.
Continuously refine closing strategies based on results and feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience successfully closing sales in information technology or software solutions (serving both business and consumer clients).
Proven track record of achieving or surpassing high-value sales targets.
Excellent skills in negotiation, handling objections, and communicating with decision-makers.
Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate complex business dynamics.
Proficient in using customer relationship management tools such as Close CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience closing large-scale or enterprise-level information technology deals.
Background in consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
Technical certifications or training (e.g., Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Computing Technology Industry Association) are a plus.
Familiarity with formal proposal and procurement processes.
