Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards and specifications are met across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems during all phases of construction. This role is critical in maintaining project integrity, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and quality checks for MEP installations across project sites
• Review and verify MEP drawings, materials, and method statements for compliance
• Prepare and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors for quality assurance
• Maintain accurate documentation of test reports, inspections, and certifications
• Identify non-conformances and ensure timely corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Support project closeout processes, including final inspections and commissioning

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP QA/QC roles within the building construction industry
• Certifications (preferred): ISO 9001:2015 Auditor, LEED, PMP, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation standards, and quality practices
• Familiar with project documentation, QA/QC workflows, and inspection procedures
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Preferred: Experience with construction in educational/institutional buildings
