Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Internal Auditor (Accounts & Finance) to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial statements, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Maintain Account Receivables Center wise Files & Records
- Participate in general Financial Management and Analysis
- Support Inventory and Store Management
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and develop internal auditing processes & Supervise and conduct independent audits
- Identify and record successes in internal and external audits
- Identify tax problems and develop solutions & Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Complete responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies and internal controls
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of cash flow
- Manage company budgets and assist with financial forecasting and planning
- Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management for decision-making purposes
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and business planning
- Handle and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounting and finance
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with financial and tax regulations and ensure the company remains compliant
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, CIMA certification is a plus).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting, with a strong understanding of finance and accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
