Position Overview:
PSI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the procurement team by sourcing vendors, preparing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring procurement operations run smoothly and efficiently, aligned with PSI’s standards and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing reliable suppliers and vendors for various real estate, facilities management, and office supply needs.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and prepare comparative bid analysis for purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders following company policies.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers under supervision.
- Support in vendor registration, evaluation, and maintaining supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and real estate industry regulations.
- Liaise with internal departments to determine procurement needs and specifications.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement, such as filing, reporting, and documentation.
- Assist in managing petty cash purchases and small-value procurements.
- Coordinate with the finance department for timely payment processing and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or administrative experience (experience in real estate or property management is a plus).
- Familiarity with procurement practices, supply chain processes, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of procurement software/ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
- Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
