Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient BIM Modeler – ELV with at least 3 years of hands-on experience modeling and coordinating extra-low-voltage systems for building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed, clash-free ELV models covering security, communications, and building automation systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for ELV systems—including CCTV, access control, public address (PA), structured cabling (data/voice), intercom, audiovisual, BMS (building management system), and fire alarm—using Revit MEP and/or Revit Architecture.
• Coordinate ELV systems with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and firefighting models via Navisworks Manage for clash detection and resolution.
• Produce shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings for ELV disciplines, ensuring all layouts are installation-ready.
• Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and adhere to project-specific naming conventions, LOD requirements, and documentation standards.
• Perform regular clash detection sessions for ELV systems, raise coordination issues, and work with multidisciplinary teams to rectify conflicts.
• Generate ELV cable schedules, equipment lists, and quantitative take-offs from the BIM model to assist procurement and cost estimation.
• Update models to incorporate design revisions, site changes, and coordination feedback throughout design development and construction phases.
• Develop and curate a library of ELV BIM families, templates, and standard details aligned with UAE authority and industry standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and present ELV model insights, constructability reviews, and clash-resolution strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE authority guidelines (e.g., TDRA, Civil Defense) and international standards (ISO, IEC) for ELV systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically as a BIM Modeler for ELV systems in building projects.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP (or Revit Architecture for ELV disciplines), Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of ELV system components, installation practices, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection workflows, and model integration.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and network diagrams and translate them into coherent BIM models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication within cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud) is a plus.
