Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced BIM Modeler – Electrical with a strong background in creating and coordinating electrical BIM models for building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with BIM tools and a deep understanding of electrical systems design and installation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Revit MEP, in accordance with project requirements and LOD standards.
• Model electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, cable trays, earthing, fire alarm, data, and low current systems.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using Navisworks Manage and Revit for clash detection and resolution.
• Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings for all electrical systems.
• Implement and follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure electrical modeling adheres to project-specific BIM protocols and naming conventions.
• Update and maintain models with design revisions, site modifications, and coordination feedback.
• Generate quantity take-offs, material schedules, and equipment tagging from BIM models to assist in estimation and procurement.
• Support BIM coordination meetings and communicate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards (e.g., ADDC, ADM, Civil Defense) and electrical codes.
• Maintain and update a library of electrical BIM families, templates, and standard details.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modeling of electrical systems for building projects.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM-related tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and local construction codes in the UAE.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and convert them into coordinated BIM models.
• Excellent attention to detail, technical accuracy, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination and construction workflows.
