• Supervise all lifting, loading, transportation, unloading, and installation activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with approved method statements and risk assessments.
• Inspect cranes, forklifts, trailers, and lifting gear prior to use, verifying their safety, certification, and readiness.
• Coordinate closely with transport companies, crane operators, riggers, and site engineers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Verify site readiness and ground conditions before delivery and installation of porta cabins.
• Ensure porta cabins are properly secured during transport to prevent damage.
• Enforce safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance for all workers involved in lifting and moving activities.
• Maintain accurate records of movements, deliveries, and installations, including signed handover documentation.
• Proactively resolve on-site issues, addressing logistical challenges or safety concerns as they arise.
• Report daily activities, progress, and incidents to the Logistics Manager or Project Manager.
• Coordinate the timely delivery and distribution of construction materials to the site, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
• Oversee the proper and secure storage of materials to prevent damage, loss, or wastage.
• Manage the allocation, utilization, and scheduling of construction equipment and machinery on-site.
• Organize regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
• Facilitate prompt repairs or replacements of equipment to minimize project downtime.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to align material and equipment availability with project requirements.
• Maintain effective communication across all stakeholders to coordinate deliveries, movements, and site logistics.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any logistical challenges or operational issues on-site.
