Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: A purchasing supervisor orders supplies, equipment, and materials from legit suppliers in the market. The purchasing supervisors assess, select, and build relationships with the vendors. They do the negotiation for the contracts of goods and services.

Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for purchasing the main material, supplies of goods, machines and relative equipment locally and internationally.
  • Analysis and choose supplier according to the requirement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Evaluate bids and negotiate the current market prices.
  • Procure goods, supplies, equipments /machines locally and internationally.
  • Responsible of making letter of credit to ensure timely and secure transaction.
  • Able to do stocks inventory in a timely manner.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years relative experience.
  • With valid Bahrain driving license.
  • Diploma in purchase management or any relevant course.
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
