Contract: 06 (Six) Months Extendable Contract

Location: Lusail, Qatar
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Working Hours: 10 hours per day (including lunch break)
Salary: QAR 6,500 (All-inclusive)
Availability: Immediate joiners only

About the Role

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's food procurement operations. You will lead sourcing strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless flow of quality products at the best possible value. This is more than a purchasing role — it’s a strategic position where your insights and decisions will directly influence profitability, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement process for food and hospitality supplies with a strategic and cost-conscious mindset.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies that deliver long-term value and competitive advantage.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure high service levels.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and value engineering.
• Monitor budgets, track savings, and deliver measurable procurement KPIs.
• Champion compliance with procurement policies and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct.
• Leverage ERP tools (preferably SAP) to drive transparency and efficiency in the procurement cycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with broader business goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Certifications: Supply Chain or Logistics professional qualifications are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in food procurement.
• Experience within the hospitality industry is essential.
• GCC experience (minimum 2 years) preferred.
• Skills:
• Deep understanding of procurement processes and food supply chains.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Analytical thinker with strong decision-making capabilities.
• Clear communicator and confident collaborator.
