Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for custom joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, materials, and pricing, along with the ability to analyze drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate BOQs and cost estimates
• Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and production times for bespoke joinery items
• Liaise with design, production, and procurement teams to gather cost inputs and ensure accuracy
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations and tender documents within deadlines
• Conduct site visits or attend meetings if required to understand scope and clarify requirements
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes to select the most cost-effective options
• Maintain a database of material and labor rates, supplier contacts, and historical pricing
• Support project handovers with clear cost breakdowns and budget guidance for production
• Revise estimates as per design changes, variations, or updated client instructions

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out estimation
• Good knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
