Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Electrical and Lighting Systems Maintenance:

o Perform regular maintenance, replacement, and operation of lighting systems and all electrical systems in the facility .

o Adjust and reset lighting timers and automation systems based on operational needs.

• Elevator and Escalator Maintenance:

o Conduct daily checks and preventive maintenance of elevators and escalators.

o Ensure all safety features are functional and up to code.

• Daily System Inspections:

o Inspect electrical panels and switchboards daily to ensure proper function and detect potential issues early.

• Troubleshooting and Reporting:

o Identify and record electrical, elevator, and escalator malfunctions.

o Report any faults to the supervisor and support the issuance of work orders or corrective action requests.

• Compliance and Standards:

o Follow maintenance procedures in line with ministry guidelines and safety regulations.

o Ensure that all work is done in accordance with relevant codes and classification of maintenance levels.

• General Support:

o Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or technical team

Qualifications:

· Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Systems, or a related field.

· Certifications (preferred):

o Elevator/Escalator Technician Certification

o Electrical Safety or Maintenance Certification

· Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, including elevator and escalator systems, preferably in large facilities

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and power distribution.

· Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing elevators and escalators.

· Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and maintenance manuals.

· Familiarity with safety standards related to electrical work and vertical transportation systems.

· Good physical condition for manual work and inspections.

· Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

· Time management and ability to handle multiple maintenance tasks.

· Communication skills to report and coordinate with supervisors.
