About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, lighting, transformers, and motors.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and hand tools.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to coordinate electrical work and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical systems.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrical technician or electrician.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
