Job Summary:
A technically skilled LV Engineering Support Specialist with hands-on experience in SIVACON S8 switchboards. The ideal candidate will provide engineering, testing, and commissioning support to our electrical projects team and clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for SIVACON S8 switchboard assembly, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the design and documentation of Low Voltage distribution systems, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of SIVACON S8 panels at site and in the workshop.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors for technical clarifications and approvals.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, wiring schematics, and panel layouts.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens' quality standards and technical documentation.
- Assist in preparing BOQ, technical submittals, and compliance documents.
- Provide support during FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in LV switchgear systems, with direct exposure to SIVACON S8.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens LV systems, especially assembly standards and protection schemes.
- Familiar with IEC standards and testing procedures.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layouts.
- Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in switchgear testing and installation.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or EPLAN is an added advantage.
