We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Design Engineer – Mechanical to join our engineering team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical building services design, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with a proven track record of working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting.
• Develop MEP design documentation for various project stages: concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local UAE codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, and international standards.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural elements and with other disciplines.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure design approvals and site implementation.
• Perform site visits, inspections, and respond to technical queries during construction.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize performance and cost.
• Assist in preparation of BOQs and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of MEP design experience in the UAE.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, and other HVAC/plumbing calculation tools.
• Strong knowledge of UAE local regulations (DEWA, DM, ADM, etc.).
• Excellent understanding of HVAC system selection and sizing, ductwork design, chilled water systems, ventilation requirements, and fire protection systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
