Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Review and analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand fitout requirements.

2. Carry out site visits and surveys to assess project conditions, site constraints, and any potential challenges Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.

3. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing.

4. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to understand project scope and requirements.

5. Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs.

6. Develop comprehensive bid packages and submission materials.

7. Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.

8. Maintain a current and accurate cost database for materials and labor.

9. Continuously track industry trends and pricing fluctuations to ensure up-to-date estimates.

10. Participate in bid review meetings and provide necessary information to the management team.

11. Assist in negotiation processes with clients and subcontractors.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Interiors, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an Estimator in fitout or interior construction projects.

3. Strong understanding of fitout materials, methods, and construction processes.

4. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift).

5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

6. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

7. Strong organizational and time management skills.

8. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

9. Knowledge of industry standards and building codes.

10. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
