Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at Mado RAK. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for Turkish coffee culture, a flair for creating exceptional beverages, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including Turkish coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Cash Handling: Process payments efficiently using the POS system, handle cash and credit transactions, and issue receipts.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; inform management of inventory needs.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Barista in a café or restaurant setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment. Ability to perform latte art is a plus.
• Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
• Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
