Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dubai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates for high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning during pre-construction phases.
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost advice to stakeholders.
• Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and tender documents for MEP subcontractors.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.
• Administer MEP contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
• Assess and validate change orders and additional works.
• Liaise with MEP consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve cost-related issues.
• Track project expenditures and provide monthly cost reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Conduct risk analysis and advise on financial implications.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in resolving commercial disputes related to MEP works.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum [7] years of experience as an MEP QS in high-rise buildings (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Planswift) and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with FIDIC, JCT, or NEC contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
