Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, requests for quotation (RFQs), and follow up on deliveries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project, accounts) for material specifications and procurement planning.
  • Maintain and update the procurement database, vendor records, and procurement tracking sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and service.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support the resolution of any delivery or quality issues.
  • Support the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for internal reviews or audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain (preferably in construction or MEP industry).
  • Basic understanding of procurement and inventory principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Immediate joiners preferred
