Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Finance Manager to lead the P&L and budgets for the project, sat alongside the Commercial Director and Project Director to ensure the project is on time, on budget, and beyond expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial oversight and control of the project, ensuring alignment with overall budgetary goals.
  • Monitor project cost performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions swiftly and decisively.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and reporting systems to support project decision-making.
  • Coordinate with procurement, site teams, and corporate finance to optimise cash flow and mitigate financial risk.
  • Ensure adherence to international accounting standards and compliance with local regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide strategic input during contract negotiations and change order evaluations, safeguarding project value.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in project finance, ideally within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Solid understanding of cost control, earned value management, and financial risk assessment.
  • Proficient in project financial software and reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience working in the Middle East or on major international developments is a strong advantage.
