Job Description

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing all social media channels, driving growth through increased followers, interactions, and engagement. The role supports the marketing team in executing integrated campaigns and always-on content, as well as overseeing user-generated content (UGC) monitoring and community management.

Working closely with the Social Media Manager and both internal and external stakeholders, the Social Media Executive ensures social strategies are aligned with broader brand and marketing goals, including earned, owned, and paid media opportunities.

The role also includes administrative support across campaign planning, reporting, and team coordination, serving as a key liaison for social media-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across all key social platforms (visual, video, and written).
  • Liaise with the community management team to ensure accurate brand tone and timely responses to users.
  • Use social media management and listening tools to inform content and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate on influencer and blogger outreach in partnership with the influencer marketing team.
  • Assist in the creative setup of social profiles, including bios, thumbnails, covers, and profile images.
  • Ensure alignment of messaging and content with the brand strategy and marketing priorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving platform trends, features, and best practices.
  • Monitor performance and translate feedback into actionable recommendations to improve engagement and support business goals.

Agency & Partner Coordination

  • Support day-to-day communication and workflow with social media agencies to ensure timely and accurate execution of plans.
  • Develop clear, detailed agency briefs that align with campaign and brand objectives.
  • Assist in managing relationships with key platform partners (e.g. Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, Snapchat).

Reporting & Administration

  • Track and report weekly and monthly performance of social media campaigns.
  • Prepare campaign expense reports and assist in budget tracking.
  • Maintain well-organized team files, supplier contracts, and documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics for content production, meetings, events, and team activities.
  • Support internal systems for record-keeping, approvals, and scheduling.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Required : Higher Secondary certificate or equivalent.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

Experience

  • Required : Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital marketing or social media role, with a track record of managing content and campaigns.
  • Preferred : Experience in a corporate, agency, or fast-paced business environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in running social media campaigns.
  • Ability to manage crisis communications on social media.
  • Proficiency in preparing social media reports and insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong copywriting and proofreading abilities.
  • Familiarity with social analytics tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
