Job Description

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a seeking a highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our team and provide support to an up-tempo, creative environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) Sponsor located in Northern VA. As a Graphic Designer, you will work in a dynamic production environment and assist with defining Sponsor requirements, developing solutions, and creating innovative production concepts. Job Duties Include

  • Use professional industry standards of sound design, floor, and typography to conceive graphic treatment to promote product message and/or enhance the presentation of analysis.

  • Adhere to standards set forth by the DA Publication Design Guide, Multimedia Production Group’s Design Manual, DA Online Style Guide, and other standards or requirements established by Sponsor authorities.

  • Provide on-demand and publication, digital graphic designs, and any other relevant media requested by the Sponsor such as paper pamphlets, unique web graphics, seals, icons, business cards, and banners.

  • Design a wide range of graphics, and graphic elements that enhance Sponsor branding in products to include logos, analog and digital posters, infographics, placemats, brochures, coin designs, and more.

  • Design graphic products and elements compatible with Sponsor’s website.

  • Generate promotional and marketing materials and content.

  • Generate graphics for conferences, forums, public displays, etc.

  • Take passport photos and candid shots at government events.

  • Generate slideshows or other digital content.

  • Translate ideas into compelling visuals and motion graphics.

  • Collaborate closely with others and apply feedback to improve and evolve work.

  • Working collaboratively to build relationships and accomplish tasks through formal and informal channels.

Required Qualifications

  • Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Poly.

  • Minimum of four (4) years direct related experience and bachelor’s degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree).

  • Three (3) or more years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

  • Experience with illustrations, branding and marketing identity.

  • Some experience with and/or knowledge of motion design (e.g., Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro).

  • Experience demonstrating good use of typography, grid-based design, white space, and color theory.

  • Proficiency with camera and related peripherals, projects, and interface panels.

  • Demonstrated proficiency compiling slideshows or other digital content.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with video recording and providing graphics for conferences, forums, and public displays.

  • Experience conceptualizing, designing, and creating highly effective graphics.

  • Excellent visual design skills, in addition to enhancing them with motion.

  • Up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
