Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer – Marine Engine Sales to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling marine engines, providing technical expertise to clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of marine engine systems, market trends, and strong relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive marine engine sales.
  • Identify potential customers and generate new business leads within the marine industry.
  • Offer technical consultations regarding engine specifications, usage, and maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure smooth after-sales support.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed sales proposals, quotations, and reports.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marine engine sales or a similar technical sales role.
  • In-depth knowledge of inboard and outboard marine engines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Marine propulsion systems
  • IMO regulations
  • Engine maintenance practices
  • Fuel injection systems
  • Familiarity with major marine engine brands such as Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, Yanmar, Kirloskar, and Mahindra.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
