JD- Senior Control Room Operator

Job Summary:

The Senior Control Room Operator (SCRO) is required for the efficient and safe operation of the Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) from the control room. Key role is monitoring plant performance, responding to alarms and operational issues, coordinating with field operators, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the DCS (Distributed Control System) and related control systems for gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, and BOP systems.
• Ensure the plant runs at optimal efficiency while maintaining safety, reliability, and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate closely with field operators for smooth plant operations and troubleshooting activities.
• Respond promptly and effectively to plant alarms, process deviations, and emergencies.
• Maintain daily logs and shift reports, ensuring accurate recording of events, performance, and operational changes.
• Execute startup, shutdown, and load change procedures of plant equipment in accordance with SOPs.
• Communicate clearly with operations, maintenance, and management personnel.
• Support routine inspections and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled.
• Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and company policies at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: B.Tech or DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience operating within a Combined Cycle Power Plant
• Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy is mandatory; familiarity with plant automation systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs175,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
