Middle School Science Teacher & Homeroom Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Science Teacher to join our collaborative educational team. This pivotal role involves leading our 7th Grade Homeroom and teaching Science for Grades 6-8 , integrating a Biblical World View into all instruction.

Start date would be January 5th, 2026 - May 31st, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Instructional Excellence: Develop and implement rigorous, engaging, and hands-on science lesson plans that align with established curriculum standards and foster a love for scientific inquiry.
• Spiritual Integration: Teach all science material from a Biblical World View, connecting scientific concepts with God's truth.
• Classroom Leadership: Create and maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment through strong, proactive classroom management.
• Community Building: Serve as a positive role model and build strong, productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Assessment & Communication: Document student progress, accurately maintain grades, and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Additional Duties: Participate in assigned school duties, utilizing individual talents and passions to contribute to the school's mission (e.g., coaching, club leadership, etc.).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous successful experience teaching or working in an educational field.
• Management Skills: Demonstrated strong classroom management abilities and leadership qualities.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relational Ability: Proven ability to quickly build positive rapport and maintain strong relationships with middle school students.
• Faith & Philosophy:
• A personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A deep commitment and willingness to teach science exclusively from a Biblical WorldView.
