A middle school special education interventionist position is available to provide targeted learning support for 7th and 8th graders in a contract role extending through the end of the school year. This opportunity is based in the Philadelphia, PA area and focuses exclusively on intervention services without responsibilities for writing IEPs or scheduling meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized learning support interventions tailored to middle school students in 7th and 8th grades.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 38 students, focusing on academic intervention.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions provided.

Qualifications

• Special education certification preferred; open to emergency certifications and out-of-state certified applicants.
• Experience working with 7th and 8th-grade students in a special education or learning support role.
• Strong knowledge of intervention strategies and learning support techniques.
